Our Story

On April 7th, 2023, Alejandro's dream of owning a food truck finally came true when he opened Bailey's Artisan Pizza Company. With over 20 years of wanting to make this dream a reality, he knew he wanted to bring something slightly different to the Tucson food scene that wasn't just another taco truck.

With three uncles who owned a pizza company in Mexico, Alejandro decided to go the pizza route. However, he strayed from their recipe and instead went with the Neapolitan-style pizza, which he found to be simple yet incredibly difficult to learn. Without any prior experience, Alejandro met his wonderful teacher, Francisco - an authentic pizzaiolo from Naples, Italy.

For an entire year, Alejandro tirelessly crafted batches of pizza dough, striving to perfect his recipe. The aim was to strike the perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and a soft, airy interior, with luscious cheese and delightful basil aromas wafting through the air.
